Captain's Comment

 

Even though the calendar says it is September, it's not yet Fall! We have plenty of warm summer days ahead....Here's hoping for some "Indian Summer" these next few weeks... With all the preparations for Hurricane Irene, and weathering the storm, the summer is still upon us!

The calendar may say Fall comes in September but no one is ready for Fall just yet... September and October offer spectacular weather for Golfing... Let's hope that nice Golfing weather in Sept. & Oct. is in the cards for us!!

Aeration of the Greens are now all completed. Fairways and Tees will be in the near future.....A $pecial reminder to our Members; anyone that brings in a new Member in Sept. or Oct. of this year will receive a $100.00 credit towards their 2012 Membership. Any new Member may join now and play until Feb. 2013.

I am looking forward to our Final Member Guest, the Member Member, the "Senior Open" which is offered to golfers of ages 55 & over, and the Turkey Shoot, our final tournament of the season.  I am hoping for some good turnouts!  Be sure to check out the Upcoming Events Schedule for all the dates of future Tournaments and our Membership $PECIAL.....Please get involved and SUPPORT your Club....
