Captain's Comment

The course is coming along; slowly but surely. I have to commend my workcrew for a great job in cleaning up the course and preparing it for the 2010 Golf Season. They have worked hard and diligently in getting the course in shape for your golfing pleasure. It has not been easy, but it is coming along! ...

Just a reimnder: In order to keep the course looking its very best for you, the members, I can't emphasize enough the importance of doing your part in helping me and my crew maintain it and keep it in good shape. Please take the time to follow what are "Simple Rules" of the Course. These rules are only enforced to keep the course in good shape. Please Follow Cart Signs, Replace Divots, Fix Ball Marks, and Rake Traps. This will help add to the beauty of the course and make your golfing experience much more enjoyable.

So for now, enjoy the Golf and hope to see you on the Course.

Friday Night Kick-Off

It was nice to see familiar faces at our Friday Night "Kickoff" with everyone anxiously awaiting some nice Spring weather. A meeting was held where rules, the Ghin system, Handicaps, RIGA, and Tournamentswere discussed. Thanks to all the committees for all their hard work. Awards were given out to those who won Tournaments in 2009.
