  • Submit Score: After your round, please post your score (both 9 & 18 hole scores). Handicap Revision's are done the 1st & 15th of every month.

  • Ghin: With the 2010 golf season upon us, the RIGA would like to announce some changes to the handicap revision schedule. Revisions will now take place on the 1st and 15th of every month. The first in-season revision will be on April 1st. Every two weeks, your Handicap will be revised and sent to you via e-mail.

  • Smokefree Public Place and Workplace Law: As you are all aware, on June 29, 2004, Governor Donald L. Carcieri signed into law a bill passed by the RI General Assembly that prohibits smoking in public places and workplaces in Rhode Island. The "Public Health and Workplace Safety Law " took effect on March 1, 2005. This law will protect Rhode Islanders at work and in public places from the effects of secondhand smoke. The law ensures a smoke-free environment for business owners, employees, and the public. Rhode Islanders will reap the health and economic benefits of being smoke-free.

So Remember: NO SMOKING IN THE CLUBHOUSE OR ON THE FRONT CLUBHOUSE STAIRS.

Simple Rules of the Golf Course

Look Ahead, Don't Look Back....This will move play along nicely and make your Golfing experience much more enjoyable...

Golf Tip of the Month: Work on your short game

The best way to lower your scores is to work on your short game. Players spend too much time on the driving range hitting balls and not enough time practicing their shots around the green. The short game makes up 60% of your golf game.
