The winter always seems to take its time giving way to Spring, but eventually the warmer weather will be here and we will be back on the Golf Course. As always, Woodland has planned a season of great golf for our Members and Guests. As usual, our season begins in April, with the annual Season KICK-OFF", which will be held on Friday, April 3rd, at 7PM. Please come join us for free Appetizers & Beer. You will be able to meet the Tournament Committee. If anyone is interested in helping out, this is a good time to get to know the members of the Committee and your services will be greatly appreciated. I encourage everyone to attend this meeting. I am looking for a Handicap Chairman. Please see me if you are interested!

With confidence that this will be an exciting and rewarding year for us. I offer you my best wishes for an enjoyable, successful season at Woodland Greens Golf Club.

Golf Tip of the Month

AVERAGE TO HIGH HANDICAPPERS CAN LOWER SCORES QUICKLY!
There are two vital shots that every golfer can learn to execute successfully: the chip shot and pitch shot. But you must use the proper fundamentals and technique or your time will be wasted. You develop a solid chipping and pitching game, it will lower your putts per round exponentially. Your putting won't change, but you'll have easier putts because your approach shots will be closer to the hole. That's how you begin to shoot lower scores.
