Comment
The course is coming along; slowly but surely. Thanks to my work crew who have done a great job in cleaning up the course after a couple of bad rain and wind storms. The course should be in good shape once mother nature helps us to grow some grass.
The greens are scheduled to be aerated on Mon. May 7 and Tues. May 8th (subject to change).
Please, Please follow all cart signs, repair ball marks, replace divots and rake traps. It would be of great help for the upkeep of the course.
Be sure to check out the many Tournaments this 2007 Season. Please support your club and come out and play. So for now, enjoy the Golf and hope to see you on the course.

The Wednesday Night Ladies League got off to a great start.
A little rain didn't hamper the diehard golfers. Overall, it was a
great night! All the girls played along with their Teams. Looks

Friday Night Couple's League
A meeting was held at the course with Cathy Dionne & Steve
Marshall still in charge. It looks to be another fine season. We have a great group of couples coming back and a few new ones to enjoy the weekly "Couples League".
The Friday Night Couples League will begin on May 4th
(April 27; rain out) and will continue into September with a
"End of the Year Banquet" to be held where prizes will be awarded to the winners. Cathy & Steve are looking for one more couple. If you know of anyone who would like to have a fun time on Friday nights with some great couples, please contact Cathy @ cdionne@kkm.com or call her at 508-345-2478.

Congratulation Wishes
WAY TO GO MIDGE MCPEAK .... Midge danced the night away at West Valley Inn with her partner, Gian Carlo at the fundraiser, "Dancing with the Stars of Mentoring." Midge not only looked lovely but her and her partner got perfect scores of 10 from the judges.
There were 2 tables of well wishes and supporters representing Woodland Greens cheering her on! Way to go Midge!

This month's golf tip covers a putting drill you can do indoors at
home. By focusing on posture and keeping your head still, you'll
increase your putting accuracy and improve your short game
noticeably. One of the most important aspects of putting the ball
consistently on line is making sure the shoulders are lined up
square to your target, and that the shoulders stay square
throughout the putting stroke.
