Hope everyone enjoyed the month of July with the many family "get togethers", functions, and outings that the SUMMER brings out and still find the time to play some golf. What a great time of year! I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am. Thankfully the weather has been cooperating. It looks like those hot, humid, sticky days are upon us... Already we are into the month of August....
Our Club Championship Qualifying rounds were played over a number of weekends finally coming down to the wire. This year again, as last year, there was not only a Championship Division, but a First Division, and a Senior Division ...A new Club Championship Winner was crowned!
Our Member-Three Guest Winners received some very nice prizes after a fun filled event.
Our Two Day Member-Member was a great success with winners receiving a 2008 Woodland Greens Golf Membership!
We have a number of UPCOMING EVENTS... Be sure to check them out as well.... The GLOW BALL Tournament (Aug. 4th), the MEMBER-MEMBER (Aug. 25), the Qualifying for Mulligan - Interclub Tournament,our final MEMBER-GUEST on (Sept. 9th), as well as our last MEMBER-MEMBER on (Sept. 23rd)...Be sure to check them out! Please be a part of the Events... Support your Club!

Golf Tip of the Month: Hitting the LOW Shot
When you want to keep the ball low, do the following:
- play it in the middle of your stance
- take half your normal backswing
- make a limited follow-through
- sweep the ball off the ground with no divot
- don't swing hard
