Hope everyone enjoyed the 2006 Golfing Season. My grounds crew worked hard throughout the season keeping the Golf Course in the best condition possible for you, the Members.
Unfortunately, this is our last Newsletter of the Season. The next Newsletter will be published in March 2007. Until then, you can can get your 2007 Membership Application online at www.woodlandgc.com.
Many thanks to the Tournament Committee who volunteered their time throughout the Season. It is a time-consuming job and the Committee has done a great job! It has been a great Golfing Season that just flew by. Most of the time the weather was great which made playing conditions good for everyone!
The RIGA GHIN Handicap transmissions has been completed. The last transmission was done on Oct. 31st. Your final 2006 Handicap revision card will be available at the Club House on Friday Nov. 3rd. The 2007 Handicap Season will start up again on March 29, 2007.
We still have some upcoming Events. Please make a note of them....The Turkey Shoot, the "Archie Bunker" Golf Tournament, the Christmas Party and our Complimentary New Year's Day Brunch with Ron.
For now, I will sign off till next Season. Thank you again for all your support and involvement. I want to wish each and everyone of you a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your Winter. Whether you stay here in RI or settle somewhere warmer ~ Stay Healthy and Safe and I hope to see most of you at the Christmas Party and New Year's Day Brunch... For all others, I will see you in the Spring....
