We are finally rid of those rainy, June days and into those hot steamy summer days.....Summer has arrived!! The grounds crew has been working diligently "round the clock" to keep the course in good shape for your Golfing enjoyment. I am hoping for a great month of July; with the help of "mother nature" providing us with some great golfing weather...
We had an exciting number of events in the month of June starting with The Challenge Cup where youngsters from all parts of New England were here to test their talents.
Our Two Day Member Guest was a lot of fun. We had a successful Tournament weathering some difficult playing conditions with winners winning a 2007 Golf Membership.
The first Mixed Scotch of the Season had to be postponed due to poor weather; however, it has been rescheduled for July 15th. This tournament is always a lot of fun and this is the one tournament where friends and guests can not only enjoy the golf but the company of good friends.
July hopes to be a great month. A number of events are planned: the Member 3 Guest, the Mixed Scotch and the Two Day Member-Member. Please check your schedules and be a part of the Woodland Community and participate. Support your Club!

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2006 Two Day Member Guest. We played through some difficult playing conditions and had to battle superior golfers. Congratulations to all the winners!
